Career and Technical Education

At Central School, we align with the Illinois PaCE Framework to help students explore their strengths, interests, and future goals in developmentally appropriate ways. Through daily Advisory, Integrated Arts classes (including Project Lead the Way, Media Arts, Communications/Civics, Music, and Art), and core academic classes, students connect learning to real-world careers. This work culminates in 8th grade with our Career Exploration Day—an event that supports students in making meaningful connections just before high school course planning.
