Fifth Grade

Fifth Grade

Project Welcome is a two-part orientation for students and families entering fifth grade. During the day, 4th graders visit Central School to tour the building, meet teachers, and experience a fifth-grade school day. In the evening, parents are invited to tour the building, meet teachers, and gather resources to support their child's transition to middle school.

This guide will provide insights into the academic expectations, extracurricular opportunities, daily schedules, and more. It's designed to help you understand the 5th grade experience at our school, ensuring that both you and your child feel prepared and excited for the upcoming school year.

Review a letter from Dr. Mollet regarding the best way to prepare for the 5th grade transition.

One way we help families get acquainted with Central is by inviting them to a summer tour.  Learn more now and see what our school has to offer!
