Fifth Grade

Project Welcome is a two-part orientation for students and families entering fifth grade. During the day, 4th graders visit Central School to tour the building, meet teachers, and experience a fifth-grade school day. In the evening, parents are invited to tour the building, meet teachers, and gather resources to support their child's transition to middle school.

Away for the Day

As we open the 2026-27 school year, Central School is maintaining our “Away for the Day” practice.  As a reminder, this practice requires that students keep personal devices that receive cell service, such as cell phones, smartwatches, Gizmos, and Meta Glasses powered off and stored in their lockers.  This practice is designed to limit distractions and enhance our learning environment.   We sincerely thank parents in advance for supporting this important requirement.
