Central Parent-Teacher Conferences
Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place on October 30 and November 2.
This year, parents must create an account in our new online registration system before they can schedule a conference. You may register online for conferences using our new system beginning Thursday, October 15 at 9:00 AM through Wednesday, October 21 at 3:00 PM.
We encourage families to follow the instructions in today's email and create their accounts before registration opens on Thursday, October 15 at 9:00 AM.

WHAT type of conference may I schedule?
South and West Schools will offer in-person conferences on October 30 and November 2. If you prefer to meet virtually, please first book your preferred conference day and time, then email the teacher to request a virtual conference. All conferences at Central will be held virtually via the TES platform.

Central School basketball tryouts for 7th and 8th grade students begin later this month. Please review the information below for tryout dates, participation requirements, fees, and physical form deadlines. Students interested in participating should contact the appropriate coach.

Donate Costumes at Central
Give your costumes a second chance! Donate clean and gently used costumes to children at Stroger Hospital. Donation boxes in the front hall of South School. Monday, October 13 through Friday, November 13.

Away for the Day
As we open the 2026-27 school year, Central School is maintaining our “Away for the Day” practice. As a reminder, this practice requires that students keep personal devices that receive cell service, such as cell phones, smartwatches, Gizmos, and Meta Glasses powered off and stored in their lockers. This practice is designed to limit distractions and enhance our learning environment. We sincerely thank parents in advance for supporting this important requirement.
