2026-27 School Year Calendar
We are pleased to share that the Board of Education approved the 2026-27 school calendar which meets the Illinois State Board of Education guidelines and reflects major events and breaks for the school year. Winter break and spring break are consistent across New Trier Township.

Away for the Day
As we open the 2025-2026 school year, Central School is maintaining our “Away for the Day” practice. As a reminder, this practice requires that students keep personal devices that receive cell service, such as cell phones, smartwatches, and Gizmos, powered off and stored in their lockers. This practice is designed to limit distractions and enhance our learning environment. We sincerely thank parents in advance for supporting this important requirement.
