Stand Up to Bullying Day

Thursday, December 2nd
District 35 will be observing Stand Up to Bullying Day. Celebrated annually around the globe, Pink Shirt Day began in Canada in 2007 when two students took a stand against bullying after a peer was bullied for wearing a pink shirt. The entire school district is encouraged to wear pink to promote kindness toward each other. Do you know about the science behind kindness? Read more about the health benefits of being kind.
