• Required Medical Forms

    Please note the following medical record requirements for public schools. Should you have questions, please call the school nurse (South School: 847-835-6440, West School: 847-835-6640 and Central School: 847-835-7640).

    Illinois law requires proof of an eye examination by an optometrist or physician who provides complete eye exams be submitted as a child enters kindergarten or is new to an Illinois school. The exam must be completed within one year prior to your child beginning school. All forms must be turned in by October 15th. Download the EYE EXAM form here.

  • PARCC Testing

    Beginning this week our West and Central students will participate in the PARCC testing. As we have shared, this new testing will be completed online and has been developed to align with the Common Core State Standards. During this first testing period, students will take 5 units (3 in English Language Arts and 2 in Math). Students will take no more than one unit per day.

    Week One: 3rd, 5th and 7th grade students will test
    Week Two: 4th, 6th and 8th grade students will test

  • Bus Registration

    It is time to register for 2015-16 school year bus service. Parents are required to register and pay on-line. Please click here to go to transportation section of our website. Click here to view all busing details and directions.

    Your completed registration information and fee must be received by the Business Office/postmarked no later than Friday, May 29, 2015. Registrations, other than those for Park District ONLY, received/postmarked after Friday, May 29, 2015 will be subject to a late fee of $50.00 per student. Please note that financial assistance is available to those who qualify.

  • Glencoe PTO Offers Lunch to Families in Need

    When a family in Glencoe faces a major medical crisis the PTO offers lunch at no charge (during this time) to the children of the family enrolled in District 35 Schools. The intent of the PTO is to assist the family and offer some relief during this time.   • Safety and Security in our Schools

    Providing a safe and secure learning environment continues to be a priority for our District. While events across our nation have resulted in increased attention to safety and security in our schools, we have a long history of addressing these issues. In the wake of recent school shootings, the District has taken many steps to reevaluate the safety and security of our students and faculty. As part of this effort, the Glencoe Board of Education established the District Safety and Security Committee in 2013. The Committee’s objective was to assess and enhance the safety practices and procedures of the District 35 schools.

  • Collections Across our Schools

    With the support of our 8th Grade Executive Cabinet, we have added three collections across our schools (in addition to the CapriSun & TREX in place). You can help raise money for the school and charities chosen by the students. This year the list of charities includes the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, American Cancer Society and Autism Speaks. You or your children can bring the following items to South, West or Central and deposit them in the receptacles by the front offices.
