    It's time to smile and get ready for the annual school pictures. Monday, September 8th is Picture Day at each school. Please return the completed order form with your child. Contact your school office with any questions.

  • Security in our Schools

    Welcome back to the 2014-2015 school year! We thank parents and visitors for following these security procedures when you visit our schools.
    All visitors are asked to present a valid drivers license or state ID to enter the school each time they visit. This identification information will be stored in our system and scanned through the national registries at each visit.

    All visitors will be issued an orange lanyard that should be worn in a visible location while in the school. When exiting the building please return to the main office, sign-out and collect your license/ID.

  • Placement Information 2014

    Within the Family Access portion of our website, we are pleased to share all class placement information online. The class list information will be made available on Friday, August 15th. You may download the parent letter here. All additional opening of school information will be posted on the school websites. We look forward to welcoming our students to the new school year!

  • Bus Registration

    It is time to register for 2014-15 school year bus service. Beginning with the 2014-2015 year, parents are required to register and pay on-line. Please click here to go to transportation section of our website.

    Your completed registration information and fee must be received by the Business Office/postmarked no later than Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Registrations, other than those for Park District ONLY, received/postmarked after Wednesday, May 28, 2014 will be subject to a late fee of $50.00 per student. Please note that financial assistance is available to those who qualify.

  • Superintendent Search

    After 17 years of service as the Superintendent of School District 35, Dr. Cathlene Crawford is retiring in June 2015. The Board of Education (BOE) has begun the process to find her successor. The selection of the next Superintendent of Schools is one of the Board’s most important duties and the Board vows to provide a search process as comprehensive, transparent, and thoughtful as possible.

    We invite you to share your views and suggestions throughout the search process. If you have specific comments or questions to share with the Board of Education you may email us at Supt_Search@glencoeschools.org.

  • Required Medical Forms

    Please note the following medical record requirements for public schools. Should you have questions, please call the school nurse (South School: 847-835-6440, West School: 847-835-6640 and Central School: 847-835-7640).

    Illinois law requires proof of an eye examination by an optometrist or physician who provides complete eye exams be submitted as a child enters kindergarten or is new to an Illinois school. The exam must be completed within one year prior to your child beginning school. All forms must be turned in by October 15th. Download the EYE EXAM form here.
