Central School’s Service Club Hygiene Drive

Central School’s Service Club Hygiene Drive

Central School’s Service Club is collecting personal hygiene products to donate to The Night Ministry, a Chicago-based organization dedicated to providing housing, health care and human connection to members of our community struggling with poverty or homelessness. Students can bring in travel-size shampoo, soap, deodorant, antibacterial gel, toothbrushes, toothpaste and adult size tube socks and place them in the boxes near the front entrances to Central. We will be collecting starting Monday, September 18 until Friday, September 29. Join us in making a difference. Every little bit helps!

After the drive, join us for the Glencoe Park District’s Annual Community Give Back Event at The Takiff Center, Sunday, October 1st from 1-4 p.m. Bring your family (recommended for 6th grade-adults) for an afternoon of learning, acting, and celebrating. We will watch a documentary, have a discussion, tour The Night Ministry Outreach Bus, prepare meals, assemble hygiene kits, all while EATING PIZZA and listening to a LIVE BAND! $15 per person or $50 for a family. Please pay at the door. All proceeds go to support The Night Ministry.

Central School’s Service Club meets every other Tuesday from 3:30-4:15 in L41 (Mrs. Creer’s Room), across from The Oasis. Our next meeting will be September 26th. We hope to see you there!
